An Obsidian vault is essentially a folder on your local file system where all your notes, attachments, and configuration settings for Obsidian are stored. It acts as the central hub for your knowledge base, allowing you to organize and manage your notes in one place. You can create multiple vaults for different projects or purposes, tailoring each to your specific needs.
Though it is easy to create multiple vaults, you cannot share information between them, so for the purposes of JOTS, we will keep everything within one vault.
